Copyright and Licensing Policy

Intellectual Property

The authors of articles accepted for publication in OnBoard Knowledge Journal (OBK) retain the moral rights over their works and are responsible for them. Under no circumstances does the publication of articles compromise the ethical principles or policies of OBK or its editorial committee.

Publication License

By accepting publication, authors grant OBK a non-exclusive license to edit, distribute, reproduce, disseminate, archive, and make the article publicly available in digital format, both on the journal’s website and in databases, repositories, and other digital preservation mechanisms.

Creative Commons License

Articles published in OBK will be available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), unless otherwise indicated.

This license allows users to:

  • Share: copy and distribute the material in any medium or format.

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution: appropriate credit must be given to the authors and to OBK as the original source, a link to the license must be included, and any changes made to the content must be indicated.
  • Non-commercial use: the material may not be used for commercial purposes.
  • No modifications: if the content is modified, transformed, or adapted, it may not be distributed in modified form.

Use of Third-Party Material

If the article includes third-party material, such as images, tables, graphs, software, or other copyright-protected resources, authors must ensure that they obtain the necessary permissions for its inclusion and must properly declare the source and the conditions under which such material may be reused.

Independence from Website Terms

The copyright conditions applicable to published articles are completely independent from the terms of use of the journal’s website and do not contradict OBK’s open access policy or the Creative Commons license adopted by OBK.

Responsibility

Authors assume full responsibility for the content of their articles. OBK does not use the expression “All rights reserved” in articles published under open access.
